MyLign: Personal Voice-Enabled Portal

MyLign is a personal communications portal. Users can make web calls to their contacts or other people, make 3-way conference calls, call in to hear their email and calendar entries, set personal call screening and routing rules.

LignUp features used here include: making web calls, IVR / auto attendant menus, text-to-speech, detecting DTMF, setting personal call screening and routing, conferencing, and voicemail.

Read the directions below to see how you can:

Hear Email and Calendar Entries - Call 435.776.9062 (the MyLign voice portal). Press #1 to listen to your emails and #2 for your calendar appointments.

Make a Call to a Voicemail Box - Enter your phone number, including country code, in the "Use This Number" text box. (e.g. for a US number "1-650-265-2000" or "011-44-2081149538" for a UK number). Click on a contact to leave a message. (You can leave a message, but no one will hear it because it is a virtual voicemail box.)

Make a Web Call - Enter your phone number with country code in the "Use this number" text box. Enter number you wish to call in the "Call" section text box. Click on the "Call" button. You will receive the call first. Upon answering, an outbound call will be made to the other party.

3-Way Conference Call - Enter your number with country code in the "Use this number" text box. Enter two other numbers you wish to call in the "Call" section text boxes. Click on the "3-Way Call" button. You will receive a call first. Once you answer, an outbound call will be made to the other two parties.

Set Personal Call Screening and Routing - Click on the "Configure MyLign Rules" button found in the site header. Another window will pop up. (See directions below)

Set Personal Call Screening and Routing - Click on the "Configure MyLign Rules" button. Another window will pop up (see screenshot below). Use this page to set:

Do Not Disturb - Routes all calls automatically to voicemail without ringing your phone.

Set Personal "Reach Me" Rules - Screens out "black list" calls from unwanted callers, always routes calls to you from"VIPs," sends calls to your work (IP phone) only, or have calls forwarded to any phone (e.g. cell, home or hotel phone). Calls can be made to all phones simultaneously or one by one.
