LignUp Board of DirectorsHector Saldana and Kevin Nethercott are joined on the Board of Directors by industry veterans from the service provider, enterprise software vendor, and venture capitalist worlds, with expertise in growing companies into market leaders.Regis McKenna, Chairman of Regis McKenna, Inc. Regis McKenna, considered the marketing guru of Silicon Valley, is a well known technology marketing consultant, advisor to entrepreneurs, venture capitalist and author. Over the past 30 years, he advised and consulted many of the leading Silicon Valley entrepreneurs helping them develop their marketing infrastructures. Mr. McKenna is included in the San Jose Mercury News' Millennium 100 as one of the 100 people who made Silicon Valley what it is today. McKenna has written five books and lectured extensively on the social and market effects of technological change advancing innovations in marketing theories and practices. Mr. McKenna advised a number of entrepreneurial start-ups and their founders during their formation years including: America Online, Apple, Compaq, Electronic Arts, Genentech, Intel, Linear Technology, Lotus, Microsoft, National Semiconductor, Silicon Graphics, 3COM, and many others. Thomas L. Cronan, III, Chief Financial Officer, ooma Inc. Mr. Cronan brings over two decades of management and legal experience in the high-tech industry. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of ooma Inc,. a start-up that is designing and producing a new digital voice appliance. Prior to ooma, Mr. Cronan was most recently the Sr. VP of Finance and Administration and CFO at Redback Networks Inc. At Redback, he led the company's complex half a billion dollar debt restructuring in 2003 and then helped orchestrate Redback's recovery and growth from approximately $100 million a year in revenue to over $260 million in revenue in 2006. Mr. Cronan was also instrumental in the sale of Redback to Ericsson in January 2007 for over $2 billion. Prior to joining Redback, he served as in house legal counsel for both public and private high technology companies for more than 15 years including IBM, Entrust, OpenTV, Taligent and enCommerce. Mr. Cronan was also Special Counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati in their Technology Licensing group. Mr. Cronan is also on the Board of SV Solar . He holds a J.D. from Fordham Law School and a B.S. from Muhlenberg College and is a member of the bar in New York, California and Connecticut. Nick Efstratis, Partner, Wasatch Venture Fund Mr. Efstratis is a partner at Wasatch Venture Fund, an affiliate fund of Draper Fisher Jurvetson investing in early stage technology companies. Wasatch led LignUp's Series A round of funding. Mr. Efstratis is active on the boards of directors of Tricipher, Medsphere Systems, Threshold Networks, Fatpipe Networks, Feed Management Systems, and SmileReminder. Prior to venture investing, Mr. Efstratis worked in the Business Development Group at Excite. He was also a founding member of the management team of NetDocuments. Mr. Efstratis has a B.S. in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Accounting/Economics from Brigham Young University and his MBA from the Marriott School at BYU. Jeff Webber, Managing Director The Entrepreneurs' Fund III Jeff Webber is Managing Director of The Entrepreneurs' Fund III, as well as being Managing Director of The Entrepreneurs' Fund II and The Entrepreneurs' Growth Fund. As a Silicon Valley Venture Investing veteran, Jeff was an early investor and formerly a board member at CommerceOne, Sagent Technology (IPO in 2000), Persistence Software (IPO in 2000), Avantgo (IPO in 2001) and EnCommerce (acquired by Entrust in 2001). Mr. Webber was also a board member of Sybase and an early stage strategic advisor to Inktomi's founding team. Jeff is currently an investor in Attensity Corporation; Rapt, Inc.; Bytemobile, Inc.; Responsys, Inc.; Company 51; and Bacchus Vascular, Inc. Scott Petty, Partner & Managing Director, vSpring Capital Mr. Petty is a managing director and founding partner of vSpring Capital, an early stage venture capital fund focused on IT and Biotech opportunities. vSpring was a co-lead in LignUp's Series A round of funding. Prior to vSpring, Mr. Petty was COO and a board director of Zuka Juice, a retail organization selling nutritional products. Under Scott's leadership, Zuka Juice grew from its first store to 96 retail units and over 400 employees until being acquired by Jamba Juice. Previous to Zuka Juice, Scott was a consultant with Bain & Company for seven years, where he worked with more than 16 companies re-engineering their strategies for optimum results. Mr. Petty received a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. |
