Ralph Widmar brings more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry to his mission at LignUp. As CTO at TMC Communications, a leading full-service telecommunications provider, he streamlined the delivery of existing products to create greater efficiencies and cost savings, and developed new product innovations to preserve TMC's competitive edge in the changing marketplace.

Widmar has played a key role in several high-profile, international telecommunications projects. In Europe and Portugal, he helped to open the incumbent telephone networks for competition, and also consulted with the U.S. Department of Justice on issues related to voice and data network security.

He started his career in 1978 at Mountain Bell, later handling projects for AT&T and Bell Labs. Widmar is an active member of the International Electronic and Electrical Engineers Society (IEEE) and holds a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Colorado.
