Press Release Telecompaper Article: Intel, VDC kick off WiMAX pilot in Vietnam
Intel, Vietnam Data Communications (VDC) and the local authorities in the Lao Cai province launched the WiMAX test project, VietNamNet Bridge reports. The project is part of an agreement between VDC, Intel and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The test network comprises one base station and twenty customer premises equipment to test internet and VoIP services.
